So bomb, every bite exploded in my mouth! So much fun cooking your own meal, and the servers are so friendly and helpful, even turned cut some meat ( too speed us up a bit I think, lol). Got scallops, shrimps, steak, bacon, OMG, it was lit, great value, fun night out!

Song Hak Korean BBQ has the best quality meat we’ve ever had!! The overall experience was very pleasant because our servers were friendly, nice, and always smiled when they approached us. Our medium combo was perfect for a party of two because it came with a lot of food. With this combo we could choose 3 types of items AND it came with rice, soybean paste stew, steamed egg soup, corn cheese, and delicious side dishes. We will definitely be back because they treated us so well. We left smiling with a happy belly. If you’re in San Diego, you must try this Korean BBQ, especially the intestines!

Very very authentic Korean spot! I really love the authentic options on the menu. I ordered a sweet & spicy cold noodles and my husband ordered a super spicy teriyaki style chicken. Both are delicious and worthy to try. I also like all their complimentary small side dishes. They can also refill them if you want. I noticed other tables who ordered the barbecue, they look really great. We will try their barbecue next time.

The quality meat is the star of the show at Song Hak - brisket, beef short ribs, prime beef tongue - and even intestines if you are feeling adventurous. Such a great location for a family meal or catching up with friends.

We were in the mood for some kbbq and went here for dinner tonight. It was empty when we arrived, but picked up while we were dining. We got our usual- bulgolgi, brisket, and the galbi meal (comes with kimchi soup). Service was friendly and quick. Our meats were delicious and server helped us cook as well. The kimchi was particularly good tonight! Too bad I forgot to get the fried rice at the end!

Quality meats here! Food is delicious . Service is on point. I highly recommend getting the marbled boneless short rib. It was super tender & juicy. Definitely coming back for more.

Song Hak I definitely one of my favorite Korean barbecue places in San Diego. Even though they don’t do all you can eat I don’t mind because they use only the best quality meats. You can definitely taste the difference since everything is highly marbled ! They even have large intestines which is super authentic. Don’t forget to end your meal with their famous fried rice that is cooked on the griddle. If Korean barbecue is not your thing make sure to try out there galibi jjim which is super tender beef ribs in this flavorful soup.

Food was yummy, service was good. Didn't realize 18% gratuity was included in the bill, but the servers cooked for us, so I guess I should've expected. But I wonder if there was a choice if I wanted to cook?

Finally got to try SongHak BbQ and boy did I really enjoy the Korean bbq here! This place is on my top 5 for getting your Korean bbq fix. This is not an AYCE so you don't feel pressured having to order so much and not finishing it. Either menu order a la carte or combos. The portions for the meat were just right! My family and I did the Prime Combo #1 and it was enough for all of us including the sides that come with it! Got to also try the Somyum jang gook and my first time having cold ramen and it was tasty! They have a variety of items on their menu that look delicious and will be back to try! Lisa took great care of us and loved how attentive she was. =)

Choose SongHak if you're not looking for ayce. This place has a great selection of meats and they cook the meats for you! ALSO THE CORN CHEESE. They had great amount of banchans, better than the ayce places. If you're feeling adventurous, try their intestines and it melts in your mouth. The servers would always check in with us regularly and attentive. I would come back here again for quality meats that would satisfy your tummy, instead of bursting into a food coma. I would recommend ordering their prime combo and an extra corn cheese for 3 people. It was a perfect amount to feel completely full.
